The meeting of the Majority with the Swedish Parliamentary Delegation

The Majority MPs held the meeting with the Foreign Affairs Committee members of Swedish Parliament, serving the working visit to Georgia. The parties touched upon bilateral relations, inter-Parliamentary cooperation, Swedish support in democratic and economic development of Georgia, as well as on EU integration and future cooperation.

The Majority Leader, Archil Talakvadze made the statement: "I would like to thank Swedish Government and Parliament and Swedish people - tax-payers who during years actively support democratic and economic development of Georgia with allocation of respective resources".

Georgia and Sweden share not only good cooperation but good future plans as well. "I believe that relations we have will further be enhanced within the 9th Term of the Parliament".

He noted that Sweden has contributed the greatest mite in EU integration of Georgia and in making of positive decision by EP on February 2. "We have brand new opportunities between Georgia and EU, where we had Swedish support, and will have support in the future because the progress we show and responsibility upon fulfilling our homework, gives our allies intact ground to do more for development of Georgia".

The meeting was attended by: Sofio Katsarava, Mamuka Mdinaradze, Kakhaber Kuchava, Dimitri Tskitishvili, Irine Pruidze, Zaza Khutsishvili.
