Den 23 november, med anledning av  Sankt Görans minnesdag höll Fader Angea gudstjänsten på georgiska i den serbisk-ortodoxa kyrkan i Stockholm. Georgier bosatta i Stockholm närvarade vid mässan.

On December 8, 2012, Swedish musical group "Doluri", which performs traditional Georgian polyphonic songs, participated in the concert organized by the Swedish organization "Bilda" in Gothenburg.

On October 26, 2007 the Embassy of Georgia and the Georgian Society in Sweden jointly organized an event where Professor Juansher Vateishvili gave a lecture at the Embassy of Georgia. The scientist was personally invited to take part in this gathering as a keynote speaker and on this occasion he flew from Moscow to Stockholm. He gave a lecture about prominent Georgian and Russian public and military figure – Aleksandre Bagrationi. The Prince of Imereti’s life and his activities in Sweden in the beginning of XVIII century were highlighted during the event.

On16th June 2007 at the Embassy of Georgia in Sweden on the initiative of the group of Georgians living in Sweden and the Embassy of Georgia a Georgian Society (Diaspora) in Sweden was inaugurated. The statute of the Georgian Society was approved by the founding members and a governing body was elected: chairperson, deputy chairperson and seven members of the board; the functions of each member of the board were defined. Mrs. Marina Skondia – Axell was elected chairperson of the board the Georgian society in Sweden.

Den 21 november anordnade Georgiens ambassad en utflykt till Livrustkammaren för eleverna på ambassadens georgiska skola. Inom ramen för utställningen "I råsilkets spår" anordnades tesalong med georgiska sagor. Eleverna fick lyssna på georgiska sagor och träffade sagoberättaren som har studerat sagor från Kaukasusområdet. Efter sagostunden fick barnen möjlighet att se samlingarna på Livrustkammaren.
