The project on bilateral cooperation in the field of enforcement was launched

In the beginning of October 2010 a new bilateral cooperation project between the Swedish enforcement Agency and the National Bureau of Enforcement of Georgia was launched. The project is financed by the Swedish International Development Agency (SIDA), which aims at development of mutual collaboration between enforcement services, exchange professional information and support capacity building of National Bureau of Enforcement of Georgia. Mr. Sven Kihlgren, representative of Swedish enforcement Agency indicated that sharing of Swedish model will facilitate development of country's judiciary reform and business environment, protect investors' rights. In the joint press-release, which was issued by the Swedish enforcement Agency and the Embassy of Georgia, Ambassador of Georgia Mr. Amiran Kavadze pointed out, that the cooperation project serves Georgia's desire to move closer to Europe and supports government's reform priorities in the financial-economic sphere. "We also hope that it ultimately can lead to an increased interest and security for investments in our country; it is beneficial for growth and development of Georgia", underlined Mr. Kavadze. It should be highlighted that the above-mentioned bilateral cooperation with Georgian counterpart is the Swedish enforcement Agency's first international mission ever.
