Ambassador's meeting with the Speaker of the Swedish Parliament

On February 15, 2024, H.E. Irakli Khutsurauli, the Georgian Ambassador, attended a reception at the Swedish Parliament, joined by heads of diplomatic missions accredited to the Kingdom of Sweden.

 

The event commenced with opening remarks by Andreas Norlen, the Speaker of the Swedish Parliament. In his address, the Speaker touched upon topics concerning Sweden's domestic and foreign policies, providing insight into current issues of significance.

 

Following the event, the Ambassador of Georgia and the Speaker of the Swedish Parliament had a meeting. Within this context, both parties acknowledged the positive momentum within the inter-parliamentary relations of their respective countries. They affirmed their commitment to enhancing cooperation, including the upcoming visit of the Swedish parliamentary delegation to Georgia scheduled for April of this year.
