Meeting with the Speaker of the Swedish Parliament

On April 23, 2026, a joint meeting took place in Stockholm, Sweden, bringing together the heads of missions of EU member states and candidate countries accredited in Sweden, along with the Speaker of the Swedish Parliament, Andreas Norlén.

The meeting was attended by the Ambassador of Georgia to the Kingdom of Sweden. Discussions focused on key aspects of Sweden’s domestic and foreign policy. The ambassadors were also provided with detailed information on the procedural framework for the parliamentary elections scheduled to be held in Sweden on September 13, 2026.
