Tour in Southern Sweden

From September 22-24, 2025, Ambassador Irakli Khutsurauli joined a working tour for EU and candidate country diplomats in southern Sweden, organized by the European Commission Representation and the Danish EU Presidency.

The delegation visited Malmö and Lund, touring research centers and leading innovation companies such as Ericsson and the European Spallation Source (ESS). The Ambassador also attended "EU Days," a high-level conference marking 30 years of EU membership, where discussions focused on competitiveness and enlargement. During the visit, he met with Swedish EU Affairs Minister Jessica Rosencrantz and the Mayor of Lund.

Separately, from September 25-28, the Ambassador attended the "Bokmässan 2025" international book fair in Gothenburg. He participated in seminars, met with authors and publishers, and held talks with the Mayor of Gothenburg to discuss future cooperation.
