Ambassador Irakli Khutsurauli's Meetings with Swedish Parliament Representative, Ulrik Nilsson

On November 21, 2024, as part of interparliamentary diplomacy, Georgia's Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Kingdom of Sweden, Irakli Khutsurauli, met with Ulrik Nilsson, a member of the Swedish Parliament, a delegate to the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly, and a member of the Sweden-Georgia Friendship Group (from the ruling "Moderates" party).

During the meeting, current issues between the two countries were discussed, with particular emphasis on Sweden-Georgia interparliamentary ties and relations. Both sides expressed readiness to continue cooperation through an open dialogue format.

A few days earlier, Georgia's Ambassador held an expanded-format meeting in the Swedish Parliament with members of the Foreign Affairs Committee and the Sweden-Georgia Friendship Group. The parties discussed ongoing areas of cooperation and agreed to maintain an active agenda.
